Our Story
Cavan Community Radio went about the county in 2011, training local groups and idividuals in the skills of making a radio programme. Noreen then became a volunteer with Cavan Community Radio where she hosted the "Healthy Times" slot on a regular basis. She also hosted a regular Hot TopiX show on Cavan online Radio. Because she believes that it is beneficial to a town to have it's own voice and for Belturbet family members living away from home to access up-to-date news, she started Belturbet Erne Internet Radio.
We are still at the very early stages and hope to develop with the help of local people engaging wit local radio.

Today (August 2nd 2018) Leon McDermott joins Belturbet Erne Radio. He will facilitate the younger generation with hugely relevant topics and original music by artists not yet in the mainstream.
