The fully refurbished Town Hall with new Civic Centre and Library was opened officially on May 9th 2014 by Minister Phil Hogan. Iwas able to speak to him briefly, but sadly have no picture of the encounter

It was a pleasure for me to get chatting to Pauly Fagan on March 25th 2017 in the Ducking Stool Bar in Belturbet. Young, talented Musicians are up against fierce competition these days and I enjoy being just one of their tiny stepping stones on their artistic journey.
